Making a Mother's Day card is a great way to show your mom how much she means to you. Even if you're a novice card maker, you can design this pretty flowered card in just one afternoon. Step 1
Draw a spiral on a sheet of paper.
Step 2
Cut out the spiral and roll it carefully to the center until it looks like a flower. Use a glue dot to attach the flower to the middle of the spiral.
Step 3
Cut out several circles from coordinating patterned papers. Ink around the edges of each circle for added dimension. Stack the circles together and add a button or brad to the center to make a second flower for your Mother's Day card.

Cut out a heart and ink the edges.
Step 5
Glue all three embellishments to the front of your card.
