Printable Easter Crafts

Easter can be all about decorating and hunting eggs, but you can add even more fun and family time to the holiday. Educate and encourage your children with a variety of printable craft projects they can make in preparation for this special day.

Printable Bunny Ears

This simple paper craft is sure to be a hit with toddlers and preschoolers. It also creates an adorable photo prop for all of your Easter pictures!

Supplies

• 

  Bunny ear printable (download using Adobe)
• Cardstock
• Inkjet printer
• Scissors
• Stapler and/or glue stick
• Crayons or colored pencils
• Cotton balls (optional)

Directions

1. Download and print the bunny ears onto the paper of your choice.
2. Have your child color the ears as desired. If you wish, you can also glue cotton balls to the ears to give them a fluffy appearance.
3. Cut out the ears and the headband.
4. Staple or glue the parts of the project together to create a headband that is the appropriate size for your child. The headband strips should be attached to create one long band -- measure this around the child's head, cut off the excess, attach the ends together, and then attach the ears at the front.
5. If you want to make a pair of bunny ears for an adult, print two copies of the bunny ears and use the headband from the second page to adjust the size of the project as needed.

3D Paper Easter Egg

Dying real Easter eggs can be quite messy, but this easy printable craft is just as cute and totally mess free!

Supplies

  Easter egg printable
• Paper
• Inkjet printer
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Stapler
• Self adhesive rhinestones (optional)
• Brown ink pad (optional)

Directions

1. Print the designs onto the paper of your choice. There are ten different egg patterns to choose from, so you can make a single egg or a large holiday arrangement.
2. Carefully cut out each egg shape. You need ten egg shapes for each finished 3D egg.
3. If desired, further embellish the printed egg shapes with self adhesive rhinestones to add sparkle or go over the edges of each shape with a brown ink pad for a slightly vintage look.
4. Glue the egg shapes together so you have a total of five double-sided egg shapes.
5. Stack the double sided egg shapes on top of each other. Fold the stack in half, creasing well.
6. Unfold and add two staples along the middle vertical center of the eggs.
7. Fan the shapes apart to finish your 3D Easter egg.

Easy Easter Basket

Easter isn't complete without an Easter basket filled with treats. This little basket is the perfect size for all your favorite goodies.

Supplies

• 

  Easter basket printable
• Paper
• Inkjet printer
• Glue stick
• Scissors
• Easter grass or shredded green paper
• Assorted plastic eggs
• Marker or alphabet stickers (optional)

Instructions

1. Decide whether you want to make a pink or blue Easter basket. Print the template onto white paper.
2. Place the large paper vertically in front of you with the patterned side face down. Fold in half from left to right, then unfold. Fold the left and right sides in to meet the center crease, then unfold.
3. Fold your paper in half horizontally. Unfold. Fold the left and right sides in to meet the center crease.
4. Fold each of the four corners in so they form small triangles. Each corner should line up with the nearest corresponding crease from step 2.
5. Fold the middle edges back over the corners, creating a thin white border in the middle of your paper.
6. Gently open your paper with your hands on the middle creases. Pinch the sides to reinforce the box as needed.
7. Glue the handle to your box to turn it into a basket.
8. Fill with Easter grass or colored paper and your plastic eggs.
9. If desired, add the recipient's name to the box using a marker or small alphabet stickers.
